Queer As Folks
Another term used a tad too often at the moment is "folksonomy". Seems to keep popping up in press releases from "Web 2.0" startups, while Wikipedia, Digg, YouTube just let "folks" go about their business.
A weakness with all this is that it relies on "folks" who may think the Great Wall of China was built to keep out the rabbits. See what Stephen Colbert did to Wikipedia here.
