Melbourne Shuffle
Do a search on Youtube for Melbourne and all you get is videos for 'graffiti' and this new dance craze, the 'Melbourne Shuffle'. We liked this rabbit and penguin one the best.
All other states look out. You need a statewide dance craze to bring in the tourists. The WA Waltz, the QLD Boogie are all in the works.

Queer As Folks
Another term used a tad too often at the moment is "folksonomy". Seems to keep popping up in press releases from "Web 2.0" startups, while Wikipedia, Digg, YouTube just let "folks" go about their business.
A weakness with all this is that it relies on "folks" who may think the Great Wall of China was built to keep out the rabbits. See what Stephen Colbert did to Wikipedia here.
Thank God for Snacks
Someone at Soap was the first person in the WORLD to use the term 'snack entertainment', apparently. Now even the slowest to adopt anything, TV companies, are doing it...
At one end of the scale, the first seven minutes of Fox Network's 'The Simpsons' season opener will be available as a preview on MySpace, IGN TV and Fox.com.
At the other end, lil' old Channel 10 is letting viewers download packages of four to eight minutes of "snack TV" from the new Thank God You're Here website.
